Your Responsibilities and Duties
- Definition, design, and implementation of the software, including the architecture of a new microscope, also based on existing solutions
- Extensive experience with C#/.NET, C/C++, Python
- Design and implementation of an innovative, user-oriented graphical user interface (GUI)
- Translation of complex user and market requirements into intuitive, high-performance software solutions
- Ensuring high system performance, stability, and scalability
- Close collaboration with hardware, systems, and development teams as well as physicists to optimally integrate existing software
- Promotion of knowledge sharing, skill development, and sustainable documentation
Your Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in developing complex software architectures, ideally for imaging systems with high user interaction
- Strong expertise in modern software development (architectures, interfaces, performance, maintainability)
- Deep experience in GUI design, usability concepts, and user-centered design
- Excellent communication skills
