Online application form and data protection

Thank you for your interest in the website of attocube systems GmbH ("attocube"). We know that the careful handling of your personal data and the associated protection of your privacy are very important to you. Therefore, we appreciate your trust in us to handle this information conscientiously. attocube takes data protection seriously and observes the relevant data protection legislation such as the German Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By using our electronic applicant platform, you agree to the following privacy policy.

We want you to know about the information we collect online, why we collect it and how we process it. We have implemented technical and organizational measures to ensure that data protection regulations are observed both by us and external service providers.

Personal data

Personal data is individual information about personal or factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person (data subject). This includes, for example, information such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail address. In principle, it is not necessary for you to disclose personal data in order to use our website. For the electronic application process, however, we need your name and address as well as other personal information so that we can process your application. We only store and process data you provide voluntarily or automatically.

Information on the collection, use, disclosure and deletion of data

By using the contact form in this electronic application portal or by applying via e-mail, you voluntarily provide attocube systems GmbH ("attocube") with your personal data for the purpose of an application process. You further express your interest in employment with attocube. Personal data is processed solely for carrying out the application process and to protect our own legitimate business interests in the recruitment process.

This data is processed in accordance with Art. 6 para.1 lit. b) EU GDPR for the implementation of pre-contractual measures in form of carrying out the application process or, if desired and permissible (if consent has been granted in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) EU GDPR), for the purposes of making the data available in an applicant pool. The data is not passed on to third parties for any purpose other than the aforementioned purpose without your explicit consent.

attocube may process your data manually or automatically by authorized employees or alternatively authorized third parties for the aforementioned purpose. Authorized third parties receiving data may be, for example, affiliated companies or service providers. If third parties outside attocube are used in connection with the application process, such processors are obligated to handle your personal data properly and with care in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations.

If you give your permission via the online application form or in person for your applicant profile to also be checked for other positions, you are voluntarily making your personal data available beyond a specific application for the purpose of recruiting, in particular so that your profile can be assigned to suitable open positions. Alternatively, you are given the option of having your profile checked for a specific position only. The provision of your personal data is not required by law, but is necessary in order to communicate with you during the application process and to ensure processing.

The data is stored at the end of the application process for a period of one year or if you withdraw your application or as long as you are independently interested in a job at attocube. The stored data (usually name, date of birth, address, e-mail address, telephone number, fax number and curriculum vitae) is deleted as soon as the purpose no longer applies and there are no legal tax, archiving or other obligations to the contrary.

Information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability as well as revocation

You have the right at any time to get information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of data processing. This includes a right to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability of this data, insofar as no legal regulations conflict. In the case of consent given to us to collect and store your data, you have the right to revoke this consent at any time. Until revocation, the storage and collection of the data remains lawful. If necessary, please contact our People & Development team at people@attocube.com or the data protection officer at datenschutzbeauftragter@attocube.com or the address given in the imprint of the general website.

Access logs (“server logs”)

Each access to this recruitment website automatically causes general protocol data, so-called server logs, to be collected. As a rule, this data is a pseudonym and thus does not allow for inferences about the identity of an individual. Without this data, it would, in some cases, be technically impossible to deliver or display the contents of the software. In addition, processing this data is absolutely necessary under security aspects, in particular for access, input, transfer, and storage control. Furthermore, this anonymous information can be used for statistical purposes and for optimizing services and technology. In addition, the log files can be checked and analyzed retrospectively when unlawful use of the software is suspected. The legal basis for this is §25 subsection 2 Sentence 2 TDDDG. Generally, data such as the domain name of the website, the web browser and web-browser version, the operating system, the IP address, as well as the timestamp of the access to the software is collected. The scope of this log process does not exceed the common log scope of any other site on the web. These access logs are stored for a period of up to 7 days. There is no right to object to this.

Error logs

So-called error logs are generated for the purpose of identifying and fixing bugs. This is absolutely necessary to ensure we can react as quickly as possible to possible problems with displaying and implementing content (legitimate interest). As a rule, this data is a pseudonym and thus does not allow for inferences about the identity of an individual. The legal basis for this is §25 subsection 2 Sentence 2 TDDDG. When an error message occurs, general data such as the domain name of the website, the web browser and web-browser version, the operating system, the IP address, as well as the timestamp upon occurrence of the respective error message and/or specification is collected. These error logs are stored for a period of up to 7 days. There is no right to object to this.

The use of cookies is absolutely necessary for providing our services and thus for the performance of the contract (article 6 (1) b) of the GDPR). Period of storage: up to 1 month or until the end of the browser session Right to object: You can determine via your browser settings whether you allow or object to the use of cookies. Please note that deactivating cookies may result in limited or completely blocked functionalities of this recruitment website.

KG as the controller processes personal data, you as the data subject have certain rights under Chapter III of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), depending on the legal basis and the purpose of the processing, in particular the right of access (article 15 of the GDPR) and the rights to rectification (article 16 of the GDPR), erasure (article 17 of the GDPR), restriction of processing (article 18 of the GDPR), and data portability (article 20 of the GDPR), as well as the right to object (article 21 of the GDPR).
